2. What this website does not do
This website sets no cookies, stores nothing on your device, uses no analytics or advertising services and embeds no third-party content. Fonts and the 3D rendering are delivered together with the website by our hosting provider, not from third-party servers. A consent banner is therefore not required.
3. Hosting
The website is hosted by Vercel Inc., 440 N Barranca Ave #4133, Covina, CA 91723, USA. Vercel delivers the pages via a worldwide server network, so data is also processed in the USA. A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with Vercel. The transfer to the USA is based on the European Commission's adequacy decision for the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (Art. 45 GDPR) and additionally on the Commission's standard contractual clauses (Art. 46 GDPR). Our domain and email mailbox are provided by STRATO GmbH, Otto-Ostrowski-Straße 7, 10249 Berlin, Germany, with whom a data processing agreement is also in place.
4. Server log files
When you visit the website, Vercel automatically processes technical access data: the page requested, date and time, amount of data transferred, browser type and version, operating system, the previously visited page and the IP address. This data serves the secure and stable delivery of the website and the defence against attacks. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. We do not analyse this data ourselves or combine it with other data. Vercel keeps the logs only as long as necessary for operation and security and then deletes them automatically.
5. Contact form and e-mail
If you contact us via the form or by e-mail, we process the details you provide (company, e-mail address, message) in order to answer your enquiry. The form transmits your details in encrypted form to a server function at Vercel in Frankfurt am Main, which forwards them as an e-mail to our mailbox at STRATO; they are not stored on the web server itself. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where the enquiry is aimed at a contract, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The details are deleted no later than six months after the enquiry has been dealt with, unless statutory retention obligations apply; depending on the type of record these are generally six to ten years under German commercial and tax law (HGB, AO). Documents submitted for an initial assessment are treated as confidential and deleted after the assessment is completed unless an order follows.
6. Recipients
Data is transferred only to our hosting and IT service providers as processors under Art. 28 GDPR, including the provider of our e-mail mailbox. Data is transferred to countries outside the EU only where such a provider operates servers there; in that case the transfer is based on an adequacy decision of the EU Commission or on standard contractual clauses (Art. 45, 46 GDPR).
7. Your rights
You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on Art. 6(1)(f) (Art. 21). To exercise these rights, please contact the address given above.
8. Right to lodge a complaint
You may lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The authority responsible for us is the State Commissioner for Data Protection and the Right of Access to Information of Brandenburg (Landesbeauftragte für den Datenschutz und für das Recht auf Akteneinsicht Brandenburg), Stahnsdorfer Damm 77, 14532 Kleinmachnow, Germany, phone +49 33203 356-0, e-mail poststelle@lda.brandenburg.de.
9. Data protection officer
No data protection officer has been appointed, as the statutory requirements (§ 38 BDSG) are not met.
10. Data security and changes
We take technical and organisational measures to protect data (access restrictions, encrypted transmission via HTTPS, backups, authorisation concepts) and review them regularly. We update this policy when the legal situation, our procedures or the website's functions change; the current version is always available here.
